Acting runs in 23-year old Jonny Lee Miller's family. His great-grandfather was a well-known Edwardian actor, and his grandfather was the distinguished stage and screen actor Bernard Lee, best remembered for his role as M in the James Bond films.

At the age of 17 Miller left school to pursue a career as an actor. Since that time he has appeared in numerous television programs in his native England, including "Prime Suspect 3," "Inspector Morse" and "Itch," directed by Beeban Kidron. On stage, he has been seen in productions of "Entertaining Mr. Sloane," "Our Town" and "Beautiful Thing."

Miller made his feature film debut as a rebellious computer whiz in "Hackers," and then put in an unforgettable performance as Sick Boy in Danny Boyle's international hit "Trainspotting." He recently completed filming Gillies MacKinnon's World War I drama "Regeneration," in which he stars opposite Jonathan Pryce, James Wilby and Tanya Allen. Jonny Lee Miller will appear next in "Plunkett & Macleane" with Liv Tyler and Robert Carlyle.
