PASCAL RABAUD

(DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY) Renowned director of photography Pascal Rabaud was invited onboard to film the story. Born in France, with vast experience in publicity campaigns, Mr. Rabaud filmed Wim Wenders' The End of Violence. In his first experience in Brazil, Pascal Rabaud, like most foreigners, was impressed with the city's landscapes he had to shoot from various angles and under the most different lights. He declares: "Rio is, undoubtedly, one of the most beautiful cities in the world." The generosity of the city's natural beauty didn't make his work easier, though. According to the filmmaker: "The landscapes multiplied themselves infinitely as we tried different camera angles. And with so many spectacular sights to choose from, it's very hard to pick the best one."
