"Caught" is based on the novel, Into It (Dial Press), by EDWARD POMERANTZ (screenwriter). He has also written a play, "Brisburial" (produced by the New Federal Theatre), as well as over thirty commissioned screenplays for film and television, including "Law and Order" episodes for NBC. "The Gold Bug," an after-school special based on his adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's story, won an Emmy. He has been the recipient of the Writers Guild Award, a CAPS Grant, a Ford Foundation Grant, three John Golden Awards, and the ABC-TV Playwright-in-Residence Grant at the Yale Drama School. In addition to his many credits, Pomerantz has taught at the Aspen Writer's Workshop, NYU Tisch School of the Arts (the Dramatic Writing Program), and the Writers Guild East Foundation Screenwriting Workshop.
