Noel Pearson
(Producer) - A native Dubliner, Noel Pearson has produced theatre in Europe and in the United States for twenty years, including his tenure as the chairman and artistic director for the legendary Abbey Theatre. Pearson has been nominated for three Tony Awards, and garnered two, for "Dancing at Lughnasa" (91-92) and "An Inspector Calls" (93-94). Other award-winning Broadway productions include "Someone to Watch Over Me" and "Translations". His first film production, My Left Foot, received international acclaim including Academy and BAFTA nominations and Awards, The New York Film Critics Award and the Italian Donatella. Dancing At Lughnasa is Pearson's fifth feature film, following The Field, Frankie Starlight and Gold in the Streets. Upcoming feature projects include Lulu, based on the life of the enigmatic and willful silent screen star, Louise Brooks.
