[Aaron Eckhart as Chad] AARON ECKHART (Chad) -- IN THE COMPANY OF MEN marks Aaron Eckhart's first leading film role. Originally from Northern California, Aaron was a college friend of LaBute's at Brigham Young University where he appeared in several of LaBute's plays. Eckhart has been working and studying acting in New York for the past four years. He recently finished work on the feature film, "In and Out," directed by Frank Oz and starring Kevin Kline, Matt Dillon and Debbie Reynolds; was a guest on the television series "Aliens in the Family" and appeared in Michael Christofer's theatre production, "Amazing Grace," starring Marsha Mason.



[Stacy Edwards as Christine] STACY EDWARDS (Christine) -- Stacy Edwards began her acting career in Chicago studying and working in the theatre. She was cast in the NBC soap opera "Santa Barbara," which brought her to Los Angeles where she appeared in a remake of "Dinner At Eight" for TNT, "The Promise" for HBO and the television series, "Sons and Daughters" for CBS, as well as numerous guest starring roles on episodic television and MOWs. Edwards originally met LaBute during a production of "Rounders," one of his plays that was workshopped at the 1991 Sundance Institute's Playwrights Lab. To prepare for her role, Edwards worked with several hearing-impaired students at a local university in Southern California and with a nurse who taught American Sign Language in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Most recently, Edwards was cast in the upcoming feature "Primary Colors."



[Matt Malloy as Howard] MATT MALLOY (Howard) -- A graduate of SUNY Purchase, Matt Malloy was introduced to LaBute by Ted Hope of Good Machine, Inc. Malloy has appeared in several Robert Altman productions including "The Caine Mutiny Court Martial" and "Tanner '88." He was also featured in "Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle" directed by Alan Rudolph and in many Hal Hartly films such as "The Unbelievable Truth," "Simple Men," "Surviving Desire" and "Trust." His other film credits include "Boys," "Wind," and several award-winning short films. Malloy is currently shooting the television pilot for "Fargo."
