GEORGE FABER (Executive Producer) recently co-produced "Priest," directed by Antonia Bird, which swept the awards at the Edinburgh and Toronto film festivals and generated controversy upon its American release.

His other credits as a producer include "Needle," Barbara Kidron's "Antonia and Jane," "Revolution!" by the National Theatre of Brent; "Journey to Knock," "Redemption," and "A Little Bit of Lippy."

Faber joined BBC as a Production Trainee in 1984 and became a Script Editor with BBC Television Drama in 1986.

He became Executive Producer of BBC2's Screenplay season in 1989 and since then the network has won over 25 national and international awards for its acclaimed mix of film dramas. He was the Executive Producer of Antonia Bird's first film, the BAFTA award-winning "Safe" (Best Single Drama). George Faber was appointed Head of Single Drama, BBC Television in July 1993.
