SERGIO RUBINI

(Andre, the Young Policeman)

Born in 1959 in Grumo Appula, near Bari, Sergio Rubini has worked in Italian cinema, theatre and radio, both as actor and director.

He is best known in this country for playing the lead role in Federico Fellini's "Intervista." He made his film directing debut in 1990 with "La Stazione" (which he also starred in), a critical and popular success. He followed with "La Bionda" in 1993.

His other film acting credits include "Figlio Mio Infinitamente Caro," "Il Caso Moro," "Il Grande Blek," I Giorni Randagi," "Una Notte un Sogno," "Treno di Panna," "Mortacci," "Chiedi la Luna," "Al Lupo! Al Lupo!" and "Condannato a Nozze."
