In 1999, LISA RINZLER (Director
of Photography) won the Sundance Award for Best
Cinematography and the IFP Independent Spirit
Award for her work on Tony Bui's "Three Seasons."
Her other films include: "The Buena Vista Social
Club," "Trees Lounge," "Dead Presidents," "Menace
II Society," "True Love," "Gun Crazy," "Urban
Fairytale" and "Reverse Angle." Her documentary
credits include, "No Sense of Crime," a film about
women involved with men on death row, "Hookers,
Prostitutes, Pimps, and Their Johns," and a collaborative
work with Peter Stastny titled "In The House,"
for which children acted and wrote their own stories.
In addition to her work in film,
Ms. Rinzler has served as the director of photography
for numerous commercials and music videos as varied
as Will Smith and Tatyana Ali's "Boy You Knock
Me Out," K.D. Lang's "Miss Chatalaine," Chris
Isaak's "Don't Make Me Dream," and Tone Loc's
"Funky Cold Medina."
