LINDSAY LAW

(Executive Producer)


As president and executive producer of American Playhouse, Law oversees all aspects of each of its productions. Most recently he served as executive producer of the feature films "Golden Gate," "Shimmer," and "The Music of Chance." He also executive produced numerous other theatrical films for American Playhouse including "Longtime Companion," "Straight Out of Brooklyn," "El Norte," "Stand and Deliver" and "The Thin Blue Line." Law produced for American Playhouse the musical "Working," the hit Broadway play "A Walk in the Woods," Peter Parnell's "Hyde in Hollywood," Ntozake Shange's "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide/When the Rainbow is Enuf," Reynolds Price's "Private Contentment" and Craig Lucas' "Blue Window." He was instrumental in bringing the acclaimed miniseries "Concealed Enemies" (Emmy Award Winner for Best Limited Series in 1984) to television, serving as its executive producer.
