JACOB TIERNEY (Jack) is a Montreal-born actor who first impressed audiences in Columbia Pictures' engaging road movie "Josh and S.A.M." about two young brothers who steal a car and discover new adventures. Tierney's other credits include "The Neon Bible," directed by Terence Davies and the children's fantasy, "Rainbow," a Canada-U.K. co-production directed by and starring Bob Hoskins.

For Tierney, his character represents something far more than a traveling partner for his uncle. "He represents the future of his family, the youth of his family, through the generations. I also think he in many ways parallels Kieran, Aidan's character, in that he is sort of quieter. I see them similar in many ways, actually."
