JOHN CUSACK (Eddie Sharp) was born in Evanston, Illinois and befriended Paul Quinn while the two were actors with the Piven Theatre Workshop. Along with Jeremy Piven and six others, they went on to form New Crime Productions, now an L.A.-based company.

A popular lead, Cusack has gone from being a successful teen actor in films such as "Class," "Grandview U.S.A.," "Sixteen Candles," "The Sure Thing," "Better Off Dead," and "One Crazy Summer," to stellar performances in "Stand By Me," "Eight Men Out," "Tapeheads," "Fat Man and Little Boy," "Say Anything," "The Grifters," "True Colors," "Map of the Human Heart," "Postcards From the Edge," "Bob Roberts," "Shadows and Fog," "The Player," "Bullets Over Broadway," "Grosse Pointe Blank," "City Hall" "Con Air," "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" and Cusack currently stars in "The Thin Red Line." He will appear in several upcoming films, including "High Fidelity," "The Cradle Will Rock," "Being John Malkovich" and "Pushing Tin."

Apart from his acting credits, Cusack is branching out within the industry. He served as co-producer on "Grosse Point Blank" and received writing credits on "Grosse Point Blank" and "High Fidelity."
