MICHAEL MAYERS (Director of Photography)
Michael Mayers is a Director of Photography and Director/Cameraman with more than ten years of experience in film and television. Mayers has photographed many award-winning projects, including the feature DENISE CALLS UP, CAFE SOCIETY (for which he earned a Cable ACE nomination), the independent documentary HOG (Rosebud Award) and David O. Russell's SPANKING THE MONKEY (Audience Award for Best Dramatic Feature at the 1994 Sundance Film Festival). Mayers' most recent credits include LEWIS & CLARK & GEORGE, which premiered in the American Spectrum section of the 1997 Sundance Film Festival, the feature BROADWAY DAMAGE, and three television documentaries: "Route 66: The Mother Road" for National Geographic Explorer, "Sideshow" for The Learning Channel and the National Geographic special "Asteroids: Deadly Impact."
