AMERICAN HARDCORE IS OUT!
October 05, 2006
Since launching our film's release at the Toronto International Film Festival in September we've had two great premieres and several stops across the US promoting the film.
Our New York City premiere was awesome. Guests included HR, Dr Know and Daryl Jenifer of the Bad Brains. Bruce Loose, Steven Depace and Ted Falconi of Flipper, Jimmy Gestapo from Murphy's Law and Vinnie Stigma from Agnostic Front. Moby even revisited his 1983 Flipper experience on stage with Flipper at our party later on in the night. Many more cast members and close friends came and supported American Hardcore. It was an great night to be remembered.
The next day we did a similar premiere in Los Angeles at the Vista Theater. Again the room was packed with cast from the film, experiencing it firsthand for the first time. Jack Grisham from TSOL, Chuck Dukowski of Black Flag, Dave Markey from We Got Power films, Mugger of the Nig-Heist, Brandon Cruz of Dr Know and of course our pals the Circle Jerks, who played an amazing set at our party. LA had a lot to do with the rise of the HC movement, and the participants came out to show their support.
Then we departed on an extensive press tour—San Francisco, Denver, Dallas, Chicago, Minneapolis, and Cleveland all got the word spread to them. We truly took the American Hardcore story to the heartland!
The film opens nationally rollin' out in city after city starting October 13th.

American Hardcore at the Toronto Film Festival
September 18, 2006
Just got back from the Toronto Film Festival - AMERICAN HARDCORE ruled the Great White North, drawing a dedicated crowd of Canadian Hardcore music fans. In a sea of red carpets and celebrities, our DIY film kicked ass and sold-out the September 13th screening. The after-party held around the corner at legendary punk club The Horseshoe Tavern was off-the-hook - with amazing performances by stars of the film D.O.A. and Flipper. AMERICAN HARDCORE opens October 13th in Toronto and Vancouver. We're now back home in the States, readying the film for the NY and LA releases. If you live in NY or LA go to the movies to see AMERICAN HARDCORE on September 22 at the Angelika Theater and September 29 at the Nuart and help us kick ass on our home turf.

Gutten Tag from Germany
September 11, 2006
Gutten tag!! Paul Rachman here from Oldenburg, Germany! Last night AMERICAN HARDCORE played for a raucous crowd of 300 German Hardcore Punk fans in this small German city — host of a 13-year-old film festival described as "the Sundance of Germany." The film had not screened to the public since the Sundance Film Festival in January 2006, and this German crowd included many very authentic current and former punks who totally GOT IT. Luckily, most Germans understand English as the film was not subtitled, and it was a great feeling for me that they really understood the message and the Americanism that is Hardcore Punk Rock. Music really has no borders, and neither does the Hardcore ethic. We all understand each other.
The other thing here is that the people here really know how to party. The parties after the screenings start after midnight and go till 6am. The next day the screenings do not start again until 4pm or 5pm. No morning screenings! Festivals take note...
