In addition to "The Governess," young Irish actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers (Henry Cavendish) has in the past year completed two forthcoming British productions, "B. Monkey" for Michael Radford and Todd Haynes' eagerly-awaited glam rock feature "Velvet Goldmine" with Ewan McGregor. That was straight after back-to-back U.S. productions, Guy Ferland's "Telling Lies In America" and Tim Hunter's "The Maker." Rhys Meyers made his film debut in 1994's "A Man Of No Importance" starring Albert Finney. On television he appeared in the Biblical epic "Samson and Delilah," directed by Nicholas Roeg. His other film credits include Stephen Poliakoff's "The Tribe," "Killer Tongue," "The Disappearance of Finbar," and Neil Jordan's drama "Michael Collins." Copyright ©1998. All Rights Reserved.
