Anthony Bregman is Vice-President of Production at Good Machine, a
New York-based producer of independent films, where he has worked on
the production and post-production of more than thirty feature films,
including SENSE & SENSIBILITY, EAT DRINK MAN WOMAN, WALKING & TALKING,
WHAT HAPPENED WAS..., THE WEDDING BANQUET AND SHE'S THE ONE. Prior to
his work with Good Machine, Bregman graduated from Yale, wrote for Off-Off
Broadway theater and served in the trenches of high finance.
Bregman's associate producer credits include THE ICE STORM, THE BROTHERS
MCMULLEN, ROY COHN/JACK SMITH and THE MYTH OF FINGERPRINTS.
In 1997, Bregman produced Frank Grow's LOVE GOD, and all-digital special
effects rock 'n roll monster movie which premiered at the Sundance and
Rotterdam Film Festivals, and has subsequently been shown internationally
at 25 film festivals. In 1998, Bregman produced, with Good Machine founder
Ted Hope, Bette Gordon's LUMINOUS MOTION, which premiered at the Toronto
and Locarno Film Festivals and is scheduled for release later this year
by Artistic License.
Bregman executive produced TRICK, Jim Fall's debut feature which was
released by Fine Line Features in 1999. In early 2000, Bregman will
produce Michel Gondry's debut feature HUMAN NATURE, based on a script
by Charlie Kaufman (BEING JOHN MALKOVICH).
