LOU PUCCI IS FROM ANOTHER DIMENSION
I was in my hotel room in San Francisco typing away late one night. Lou Pucci (star of Tskr) was supposed to arrive some time that day to join me on our press tour. The door to my room was about 30 feet from me, closed and locked. After being lost in words for a long time I look up, and there's Lou, frozen still in the middle of my room like a mannequin someone had misplaced. I threw the plant on my table to the ground.
This helped a little but didn’t solve the problem - but if the situation happens again, I will still throw the plant. Lou said he had been in my room for at least 5 minutes, maybe 10. The door was AJAR, not locked. He tip-toed in, stood there and made faces at me. I did not notice. He waved his arms. I did not notice. He started to feel like a ghost that could only watch our world. He seriously wondered if the door to my room was a portal to another dimension. He missed when he could interact with us humans. When I finally did discover him he was deep in metaphysical thought and looked kind of distracted, which just made the whole thing worse for me.
I am very lucky that I got to meet Lou in this dimension. He is one of the best things that’s happened to me. I've learned so much from him in the last few years and he's one of my best friends, even if he insists on saying "vagina" over and over with every possible inflection while I’m tired and trying to eat breakfast. Here is a sampling of what it’s like to travel with Lou.
He's taught me a lot about how to relate to girls.
He's not afraid to show his real feelings.
He's hard working and safety conscious.
Even his fingers are good actors.
He's sensitive.
Dear Lou Pucci, thank you for putting up with me.
P.S.
Have you heard of BARR! He’s a six foot five, fully intense and benevolent person. A one man band, singer/talker type performer – not afraid to be fully raw and positive to you. He is one of my creative heroes and also just one of my normal human heroes. Check out his website in our Friends section, he's on tour right now and through this fall. If you see him tell him I miss him. http://www.barrbarr.com/
