William Lee Scott plays Randy, Dedee's dedicated boyfriend who tracks her down in Palm
Springs with dire consequences.
Scott's film career began in 1996, when the actor caught the eye of director Andrew Nicolas and was cast as Anton in Gattica co-starring Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke. The film is a futuristic thriller about genetic cloning, scheduled for a fall 1997 release.
Since Gattica, Scott has been working non-stop. He immediately landed a pilot and then accepted the role of Bullethead, the hip, street-smart student on the comedy The Steve Harvey Show. Scott recently filmed an episode of Robert Altman's ABC series Gun. He also recently co-starred in the Harpo film, Before Women Had Wings, an ABC movie opposite Ellen Barkin and Oprah Winfrey.
Scott grew up in Manhattan. While working as a waiter, a talent manager who frequented Scott's restaurant persuaded the young man to take acting classes. Soon afterwards, Scott appeared in a national Frosted Flakes commercial. He was accepted to the William Esper Studio and studied under acting coach Davina McFadden.
